I need to vent a little frustration on here. I have met a couple of couples and single ladies and would like to meet more.
I am however, in no way pushy. It just winds me up when I spend the time writing a mail to a member, sometimes just to say hello or welcome, and I get absolutely nothing back. I dont' mind a reply saying "sorry not interested" or even "go away", but to just ignore me is rude.

Pacha this thread wasn't written to tell people what they can do or can't do or how to behave or not or even to change them in any way!! It was just written to help people that are new to this site and have no clue or idea what it's like in here!! :crazy:

Ok - lets get this thread back on track with a few observations and some advice from myself.
I'll start with a touch of mythbusting:
Myth #1
"Its hard for single guys to get meets."
I dont beleive it is especially difficult. While us guys are never going to be in as much demand as the elusive single bi female, a decent, honest, fun, and reliable single guy can be something of a hot property due to our rarity.
Myth #2
"The Bad single guys spoil things for the good ones"
Complete bollocks - they do the good guys a massive favour by helping us to stand out from the crowd.
Myth #3
"This is a sex site - so why does no-one want to meet me"
No - this is a swinging site not a sex site - there's a difference. The ladies on this site are no different to ladies in any other walk of life, they just happen to be a little more open-minded and adventurous about sex, and should therefore be treated no differently.
"hi,look at my cock, fancy a shag?" wouldn't work in a club, bar or cafe. so why should it work here?
Fundamentally guys, if you're not getting any interest there's no point blaming anyone else, its down to something YOU are either doing or not doing.

Talk to everyone and by talk I mean have a laugh and a joke with folks - even other blokes - even couples that arent into single guys. If you show your an open and socialble person with a sense of humour then people will gravitate towards you.

For any newbies reading this, following on from Tee's excellent profile guidelines, may I suggest also checking out something I wrote some years ago now ( "Chatroom Tips for Newbies" at the top of the "New and Nervous" forum). It got a good response at the time, so hopefully people will still find it useful.
