Well every hotel is solidly booked up till after nov 5th due to the illuminations so I suggest the social should be put back until after the revised dates!
Blackpool FC are at home to ipswich nov 8th and also at home to preston on nov 15th!
SO THE MEET WILL TAKE PLACE ON NOV 22ND!
Have phoned up the travelodge on seasiders way oposite BFC and they say they have 9 rooms available and a further 9 available that weekend as its still under development at a price of £60 per night!This hotel is just round the corner from the chosen venue and been advised they are being taken!
Have also checked the premier inn,yeadon way too and they have just 5!
So whatever happens it will take place on NOV 22nd.

Well as The Excelsior is just around the corner from Blackpool Football Club I forgot to look at the fixture list and see they are playing Crystal Palace that saturday!Now the last thing that I want to do is have a get together in a pub full of football fans(thats unless they have all gone home)and unfortunately my night out is cancelled tonight so cannot ask the landlord for advice so would anybody object to bringing it forward a week to the 18th or a week later on the 1st november!
The other reason is there is a new hotel just opened opposite the road from Blackpool Football Club which although Ive not been in to get details would be a handy place to stay with no taxis needed as that has been a problem with the majority of the socials ive been to in the past!

Well this has come to my mind for a long time now especially after my first ever outing on SP was in Blackpool in feb 2007!
So why don't we all that is who is interested in going get a social/night out in Blackpool for the saturday on oct 25thlol
Was thinking of my local the excelsior on lytham rd which has an active night scene and just stay there really unless anybody wants to go into town later on to a nightclub!
This would also be a good idea for locals on SP

Well one I love to use even though it has never worked for me is this:
I start chatting up a girl saying things like you look nice and bet you attract all the guys dont you!Then I like it when it goes quiet for ages with us just looking at glimpsing away at each other!Then I look her in the eye and say'would you like to come back to my place'
Am hoping the answer she gives me will be a 'yes' one daylolololololololololololololololololol

Yes I agree with Northie get yourself known!
When I went to my first social was petrified and thanks to 3 peeps settled down as was a single male and the majority of other peeps were couples!It really took me another social I went to to get myself known (which was MK2)and now after 5 more making a grand some of 7 socials ive been to really feel I know the top regulars and do help newbies settle in!
The only problem im finding is the top peeps live the other side of England to me!
So patience is a virtue it takes time and do not expect things to happen asap as they do not!

Well I will always remember the first day we crossed swords at that social in Manchester and really regard you in high esteem with being a friend!

On saturday night a lot of peeps came up to me and said 'I believe you are leaving'I do not know where this rumour has come from but its just total rubbish!!!!!
I did put a reply to a thread saying that MK3 will be my last event indefinetely on this site which I stand by as am only really interested in private meets now!
Oh and I know it was not the best social That Ive been to due to one thing happening but managed to take 70 fabulous picslololololololololololololololololololol

Well I started one last year called the '6am to 8am morning club' intended 4 people to get a pick me up b4 they go to work and also for people like funky who never sleep and r in the chatroom all night!
The threads I put down have been replied to by a minority and must admit it is fun though would love more replies to threads from other members imao lolololololololololololololololo

I would really like to say something some peeps might find interesting only it will have to wait until after MK3!
Also will tell everyone I have no intention of leaving this site after my membership runs out in September only will make MK3 my last ever event(not including private meets)on this site indefinetely!!!!!
