I guess some of you would expect me to reply to this.
The phrase New World Order was first used in America after the first world war but has also been used to describe the world after the collapse of the USSR after Gorbachov.
The use of the phrase is not only in a '1984' sense but also to describe a semblance of change.
The recent turmoil in the financial sector will filter down and cause a depression on a par to that of 1929 throughout the world and, just as in the early thirties (Europe especially)electorates will shift to the right and the world will become more conservative, republican and even fascist in its choices of government. The worst is still to come.
In terms of a New World Order in the future we can only pray that people will more caring, more astute in their governmental choices and more demanding that governments take greater care of both us and the people of the world. We have been badly let down by the cocksuckers who have abused us for over half a century.
Obama is our only hope.
PS: Sorry to be so serious but its a serious question. I'll go back to being a flippant now!

We posted this thread and then forgot that we did - hence the silence for about a month. Still it seems that we managed to confuse / enliven / offend (?) and titillate! (We're really conscious of the words we use in case you all go off and start defining them again and debating what we mean).
Still, the thread didn't really serve it's purpose, as no one actually wants to have their pictures taken! Which is fine.... we'll just head off with our wilycat tail between our legs.
