I would really like to meet you however, the weather down here in Southampton is currently a joke with deep snow and temps of -18 I really hope your visiting Leeds in February so we can meet up then.

I have always said the same thing to people who post threads like this - you only get out what you put in. And that goes with everything in ife, not just with swinging sites.
You are not going to have any luck on here if you don't put the effort in to get yourself known by people on here, such as getting into the chatroom and going along to a social to get a feel for the site and the people who use it. To say this site is full of timewaters is rubbish. The whole world is full of timewasters and I have met just as many on a night out with the girls in many a wine bar in London.
We all understnad how hard it is at first to get to know people as we were all new once. And yes it can be a bit scary and daunting at first as everyone seems to know each other. But that's the same as anywhere or anything new you try. 3 weeks on this site is nowhere near enough time to make your mind up on it especially if you really haven't put in the effort. It took me a lot longer than 3 weeks to pluck up the courage to open my mouth in the chatroom and now you can't shut me up (trust me many have tried lol)
So all I would say to newbies is don't be scared and just dive right in. It takes time, patience and a good sense of humour before you even take the first half a step.

I'm not a newbie to the swinging fraternity, have been around for circa 10 years but am not hardened as they say, by any stretch of the imagination lol. Hey hold the 'oldest swinger in town jokes at the back pullease!' :lol2:
Anyways, I stumbled upon this site by happy chance so could someone point me in the direction of the strait jackets and where I can get a drink and something to nibble on please :rascal:

This should be a happy place to meet like minded new friends not conduct silly bitchy comments towards other user's.
