Oh yes the socials Katherine. If you look in the lets meet up section in the forums there is a southern social in Colchester coming up in a couple of weeks. Hi Katharine, I have only been on this site a couple of months and have been having a blast. At first I was completely overwhelmed in the chatrrom and no one knew me and I didn't know anyone and everyone ignored me! :-|
But I took my time and eased myself in gently until finally a couple of the regulars took pity on me and started chatting to me. :happy:
All I did was ask for a bit of advice from some of the SP oldies (most of them are more than willing to help) and my initial screening process before meeting anyone in person was to see if they had any comments and whether or not they were established (and by who).
So just take it at your own pace, trust your instincts and NEVER meet anyone unless you have talked to them on webcam. Us single girls ALWAYS have to put our safety first.
And most importantly enjoy yourself!!!!!

Maybe more single girls have joined the site?? lol No, seriously maybe because you put in that initial effort and started getting some comments up on your profile it showed people you were genuine. I know I am dubious about meeting single guys that are not established and have no comments (especially the ones who have been members for years) but you have to start somewhere I suppose.
I am refusing to vote as age means nothing to me. There are some men who grow sexier with age - George Clooney comes to mind. There are also some men who were much sexier in there younger days, Marlon Brando being one. He was a gorgeous sexy man in his early and mid twenties and into his early thirties. Something went terribly downhill after that.
Anyway, like I said age means nothing to me. It's all about attitude, confidence and outlook on life . Experience does come into it of course, but I have some terribly inexperienced men in their thirties and forties, and some very experienced men in their twenties...
On the other side, I feel much sexier now at 31 than I did at 21. Yay to dirty thirties! Maybe it is because I am older and wiser now. In my early 20s I didn't really know myself terribly well, and now I know what I do want and don't want and that has given me more confidence even if the body isn't as firm and supple as it was 10 years ago when it was cellulite free!!!
OK, speaking of cellulite and wobbly bits... my question for you guys is do you really care as much about that stuff as most women think you do??
