Madchick, I definitely do see your point of view. I have been let down but wouldn't actually name and shame for the very reasons you mentioned above. Of course there are many reasons why people don't turn up or cancel at the last minute etc, and I do prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt.
But what do I do when I have been let down by the same person twice like I have? The first time I was cancelled pretty last minute and of course people do get stuck at work or something sometimes. But then I was cancelled again last minute by the same persdon after I had given him the benefit of the doubt the first time. Now I can't help but think is he having trouble getting away from the wife or something??
But still, even now I wouldn't name and shame him just in case he has genuinely had a bad run of things and I wouldn't want to do that to a person, well not unless I had 100% proof that they were a waster. But even then I am not sure what I would do to be honest.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth. My first response to this thread was after a fair amount of wine... lol

Sites don't name and shame for a reason.
It would give rise to every halfwit who has ever felt 'let down' to vent and abuse the system.
There are many reasons why people feel let down or feel that others are time wasters. If someone doesn't turn up for a pre-arranged meet then that's just rude. However, there can be many reasons why someone didn't turn up, many of them genuine.
To name and shame is just as rude and horribly vindictive.
People that name and shame should be banned and then maybe others will see that even if they let them down for genuine reasons, then they are likely to be slated.
For those that have been let down and are thinking of being vengeful............. get over it !!!
If thats all you are worrying about then you need to get a life.
