Sammie it looks like you have only been on here less than a month so that is really not that long. It can, and most often does, take quite awhile to get a meet. The best way to get to know people is in the chatroom and at socials which are often advertised in the lets meet up section of the forums. By going in the chatroom and to socials people have a chance to get to know you before deciding to meet you. You do have to have some patience on this site a lot of the time and things do not happen straight away. Of course like jels said there are a lot of timewasters on here and sometimes it will take people a little while to figure out whether you are or not (and I am not saying that you are) but people don't know you from adam get so just give it a bit of time.
In the meantime, get yourself in the chatroom and say hi!

Now for your jpeg problem... the way I do it is open it in microsoft office picture manager and click on edit on the toolbar and then click resize... you can then shrink it to the size you want and save it.

Not sure if there is an official plan of action in place yet about saturday early evening but a lot of people are starting to ask what is happening on Saturday night:-
Option 1 - everyone to start meeting in the hotel bar for drinks at around and then to order a number of taxis to get everyone to the venue as a group (taxi fare should be £5-£10 max depending on traffic (and snow!).
Option 2 - everyone can make their own way to the venue from onwards (details of which have been mailed to all those who have requested them from us and PLEASE... nobody post any of these details in the threads!!!)
Option 3 - everyone gets well and truly sexed out during the afternoon in each others rooms and then all head into town early on and meet at the venue later on.
Not asking everyone to mail us to say what they are doing but if anyone has any other suggestions... please feel free to say!!
