We have been members here for a while now and get the reply every now and again and we know we would get more replies to our profile if we showed a few face pics but thats where the problem is we are very nervous about posting a face pic in case somebody recognizes us are we being silly ? its just that we do prefer do see face pics when we view other profiles and would like to post ours does anybody have any thoughts or comments ?

We currently have face pics on our profile but when Ian becomes a professional next year he will not be having face pics on our profile in case he is recognised by any of his clients therefore my advice to you would be that you add on your profile text that you are nervous about showing face pics on the profile but that you would be willing to send face pics to a private email address or maybe even show yourself on cam in the chat room??

We have face/normal pix within our private gallery...That way you invite only those people you might wish to view them and for what duration.

We don't have face pics on our profile for the same reasons as the above folk.
I am a teacher and i do not think it would be looked on well if any of my pupils parents/relatives etc were to see me on here. Not that there is anything wrong with it at all, its very enjoyable !!!!
Anyhow, we put face pics on private gallery as Jels do or else swop face pics via messenger or email.

I have two face pics (at a distance) but have to admit they are not as clear as some people may prefer, but gives a little away. This was intentional as I too didn't want to be recognised too easily but as a new single male I suppose a little more risk is required, after all as a professional (allegedly) I too don't wish particular members of society seeing what I get up to in my own free time.
Having said that, although it is nice to see face pics, I do not believe it is that important for them to be in the profile.
An interesting story, the manner the profile is written, what the person/couple is looking for, are they willing travel or not is far better.
I treat pics as a bonus to indicate a level of genuineness so anything from the profiler is appreciated. Face pics can always come later, be it by Webcam or exchange of pics (I've certainly given clearer pictures after initial contact). The private gallery does sound like a good idea and there was me thinking of rude pics! lol
So, after this little war & peace (am I in the habit of going on or what? lol), no you're not silly in showing face pics. You can never be silly as long as you follow your own comfort level.

In an ideal world, what you do in your own time in your own bedroom (or kitchen or bathroom or living room or cupboard under the stairs etc) with which people, should be your own business and no-one else's, so if you choose to join a swinging site or go to a swinging club it should not reflect on your position at work or on your profession in any way whatsoever.
But I guess it's not an ideal world just yet.
You [I]should[/I] be able to turn around to people and say, well what were [I]you[/I] doing looking on a swinging site then? But I can understand why some people are wary of being recognised. We still have a society in which any deviation from the "norm" whatever that is (probably the missionary position, once a week for two minutes, whilst thinking about tomorrow's shopping list) means that you are a very very bad person and should not be trusted to manage difficult tasks, manage people, look after children or animals, or really show your face in public at all during daylight hours.
But part of me thinks the only way to change this attitude is to say, fuck it we will do what we like and if you don't like it you can stick your prudish attitude up your arse, let's face it you've probably never had anything else up there.
Hmmm, sticking a prudish attitude up ones 'arris could be misconstrued for a kinky act. Therefore once that has been done they'd be the same as us kinky buggers!!!

I agree. If you're in a sensitve job (police, military) or one where the press could twist things out of all proportion, for instance if you work with children, you have to be cautious. The tabloid press love shit like that.
I think if someone asks to see a face pic, you have to have one, but I don't think it's necessary to post one in your profile.
i keep a couple in my private folder and send them to people ive chatted with who i trust. i dont really mind genuine swingers seeing me but dont want random punters seeing me on trial memberships.
maybe i am coy after all
