Why is all 'the meets' especially socials always up North?

for several years there was an annual xmas social in Stevenage, which was always very well supported, what it needs is a southern based member to take on the job of organising such a social, what you find is that the guys who arrange a social will usuially arrange it close to their own town/city.

hi huni......nearly every social we been too is down south? that's over a period of 4 years? we having one in Newcastle simply because we live up here ....lol

If CC doesn't mind me answering for her i have to say that she is sooooooo not jealous. That was a joke and she has been to socials all over England as well as in Scotland. She even speaks to soft, nancy southerners :evil2:
me jealous, hell nooooooooooooooooooooo. Lifes to short. And no i dont mind you answering for me Rosie ;0) nothing stops peeps from south coming north, and peeps from north going south. If people dont arrange socials, people dont go to them, Why dont you arrange one. i have aranged a fair few on here, both on home soil and away. Its easily done if you really want to set one up. No point in moaning they dont happen, if your no prepared yourself to set one up.
