have been a member here for sometime and have noticed a few things, mainly the ups and downs, lack of enthusiasm, lack of talkers in the chat rooms ........
one thing is making me wonder tho ..... why when people ask to meet up there is a lack of answers
and also why are there no socials anymore ..... they were a good meeting point, no pressure, and a brill way to meet all the people that used to chat in here
Totally agree sassie, when people have tried to arrange socials they have received a very poor response. We tried ourselves and had about 3 maybe's.
The site needs a good social scene to bring it back up.
so why don't people want to meet up / use the social to make their swinging life more interesting ?
maybe the reason could be that a majority use the sight to sit at home and just free perv ........ or its too expensive for that w.e. away
I sound like an old person now remembering 'how it used to be' and shouldn't do that really .... but example 'single female, just joined no idea who anyone was/ how to react' but the first social in MK I went too was the best night I met so many people , couples, males, females, and there was no pressure at all , it was just nice to meet and chat
so come on SP peeps , put that extra effort in and start meeting , it takes people to make a site work, and get something back
MK was the hot spot once a year and its also nearly central for everyone to get too ..... any takers ?:happy:
I would go MK was Good but the biggest problem with the pub we used was far to nosy. you need a place that has a bit of atmosphere but not that amount it was actually painfull to the ears in the end.

well its been well read 66 peeps have looked at the post, 3 replies, which proves my theory that peeps just aren't interested in meeting just enjoy the 'free perv' and booty/titty cam
it really is a shame that peeps rant and moan about the state of the site, when there are peeps willing to arrange meetings, socials, and no one turns up
oh well ..... back to the dream state of 'grand olde days' when it used to be fun :color:
Hello to throw my 2 cents in I feel its not always a dont want to arrange or attend socials I think at present its a cant. People are still counting the cost of Christmas and the long gap between paydays. Factor in the weather/floods and you already have a number of barriers to why people dont get involved. I think its more of a timing/logistics issue. End of February may bring more of a postive outcomes but yes people do need to get involved

if you read the first or second blog I did say about costs, and its not just about socials its about meets in general , yep time of year counts, yep flooding/travelling logistics count, but im also on about a couple of years ago also and as other 'long timers' that can remember peeps have organized various events around the country and either lack of interest has caused them to be cancelled or just 2 couples turned up .
Well where did all them people go. The social lot and what would you suggest? Sometimes the site Iis very clicky and maybe just an open gathering would help people feel involved. Just a thought. A new year a new start on the site

The MK Socials were held in late May/June time
But like has been said One of the couples arranged a Social I travelled up to Newcastle area (over 600 mile return journey) for it, only 3 people attended
and it was a great venue but badly let down.

it does make you wonder what happened to all those people that used to go ... spend Friday night / Saturday night just chatting and making new friends, was a good way to meet people that you would probably talk to on here and there has been many a long term friendship made , I know I have made some really good friends on here
like I said on the second post who would be up for it ..... and just two people said yes ..... and how many have read these blogs .... time effort and a lot of phoning goes into making these socials happen .... and when just two or three people turn up out of maybe 60 that say yes ......... its heartbreaking .....
Logan .... there used to be MK ...... in mid summer ..... Stevenage at New Year ......Leeds after MK and then a few others scattered around one down south at a nudist beach and 5 turned up ..........
I used to be part of a couple on here few years ago and meetings seemed rife.
People come and go from the scene as we did.
Now I'm back as a single female and when I put up a post to meet, nobody replied. Now either I'm butt ugly or people aren't reading the forums like they used to.
I mentioned my disappointment in chat room and everyone said they hadn't even looked on forums and some didn't know they existed.
People do go on to chat to perv-me included-but the enthusiasm to meet up seems lacking.

We continue to have meets and parties, both social and sexual. We have tried the site wide social approach but frankly not worth the effort nowadays, most simply want instant gratification, rather than develop a network of friends who fuck.
We meet, we enjoy people and have a laugh, with sex as a bonus, that is our thing

well I have been part of this site on and off for years ... first as a married couple (sxshz) then as a single female (analfairy/curious_fairy) and were now back here to have a nosey and get back the social aspect.
I was shocked tonight when we logged in because since we last came on it has picked up a little because last time it was awful & very clicky and people just wouldn't talk in the chat rooms but yet it was nothing like it was when I was first here which I loved the social side of things - the chat rooms there were anything from 35-100+ on a weekend night, the social meets were also good turn outs and they were great.
MK was the highlight of the year, with Stevenage and Leeds but Its such a shame they're not here or supported any longer.
I do agree with what's previously been said on here its phases people come, people go, people pop back & some never leave, I suppose the socials are like that too.
I know me n the hubby would pop to socials at times as its a good way to make friends and put names to faces, im sure I may even be able to drag miss serenity from time to time.
I've made great friends from this site over the years - my best friend in fact and even the love of my life, so we cant be all that bad on SP lol
I wish I had been more active on this site in the "good old days" - I've been registered for 5 years now (first as a single, now as part of a couple) and have yet to meet anyone in person (have found plenty of fake profiles though, and people who pretend to want to meet up in order to exchange photos).
My partner and I are new to properly exploring this scene and are finding it reeeeally hard to meet people. At parties people are more interested in fucking than talking (I prefer talking THEN fucking), and amongst our (monogamous) friends, people are freaked out by the fact that we want to see/sleep with other people. So we just don't talk to anyone about it. We are finding the whole experience really isolating.
If anyone has any recommendations (for better sites, better parties, or just a place to be social with like-minded, non-judgmental people) please feel free to drop me a line. Any tips/encouragement would go a long way.

To be honest we have already been to a few socials and also have met a few couples and could have met many more!!! We have found being in the chat room and yes actually chatting has helped!!!! We try to go on cam as much as we can just to mainly show people esp newbies that we are a genuine couple and that we are just on general a very easy going down to earth couple! !!!! I find that people like that and in turn will chat much much more!!!!! I agree with the( I like to chat first before fucking) also a reason why we have only met a few couples so far and we have made some wonderful friends!!!! People just don't seem to read the forums now so as new moderators (well since August time) we are trying to get people to look at the forums more and also to arrange a social gathering for people to put faces to names and just in general have a relaxed no pressure good and fun time after all isn't this what it's all meant to be about!!!!!!!! So with that said check the let's meet up and then the sticky:- social meet and get your names down if interested!!!!! seems that the debate is still going on ....... 200 plus viewings, and 20 plus replies which is good at least peeps are reading and making a comment about socials/meetings ..... still seems that the 'long term' peeps have a view on the subject ... but its the newer people that need to say 'yep, interested,' ......it really isn't just a 'free perv' site
daz and lisa are trying to motivate this site .... and good for them, seems they and kayde are the only mods who seem to be around now, and they are putting time and effort to get peeps movtivated and turn up for a social ..... so get those fingers working and go ...... open mind .... not too drunk .... and enjoy chatting and probably more
I fully agree. More socials leads to a better site, weeds out the cam watchers and people with the desire and intention to meet can actually chat and get to know one another. Just need a date and venue....

personally I prefer to have a social ,,,, see if the peeps I chat too actually are one and the same .... have a drink and dance and then .... see how the night goes
if the night goes well and all is good then prob keep meeting up with that person ....
