it seems over the last six months or so more amd more having been leaving and i guess they all have different reasons but for me its simple, the site has lost its soul.. not so long ago this site was friendly and enjoybale, sadly those days are just a memory and before you all jump to conclussions this isnt a disenchanted single guy , only someone who has been on the site a while and had seen it slowly ebb away, its a shame and at the end of the day we are all to blame but these days there seems no civilty or manners and too much of a clique mentality so cest la vie and best wishes to all.

Well I can understand where scots is coming from even if I am rather new to the site. But I have to say I have been enjoying myself on here and of course there is some rubbish on here, but there is rubbish everywhere. If you spend too much time worrying about the bad things in life you run the risk of missing out on all the good stuff.

Like MWM69 we joined last year, and have found the opposite as well, we've had a lot of fun through this site and met some lovly friendly people here, think you have to ignore or walk away from negativity and crap, it's in every walk of life after all, and just concentrate on the good and the fun.
Have to say we are still new I guess,and love the site. Can't say we have had any problems,but know people that have. We would say if you have issues with anyone on site KEEP IT OUT OF THE ROOM. The only bad thing on this site is listening to peeps fighting,its a [b]ADULT FUN SITE.[/b] Winge over.

I have seen many fantastic people come and go on this site for many reasons ...... but mainly due to the site being poorly run and not allowing members to express their views fairly on the site. This site was taken over by a 'rival' site a while ago and it has not been the same since i am afraid to say !!
There are a LOT of issues with SP ..... the proliferation of fake and idle profiles, the dubious marketing methods and ploys, the piss poor way any disputes are resolved being only a few gripes ...... its no wonder people become disillusioned with the site - let alone the whole process of swinging itself !!
FAR be it from me to tell anyone how to swing but this site has become more of a ' wananbee's ' swinger sites ..... with more people just chatting rather than meeting, people lurking and maligering in the chat room and not actually chatting and many other crimes that should be punishable by 10 bangs on the bot bot with a slipper !! lol xxx
Despite all this there are still some fantastic people on here and just popping in occassionally and chatting to them makes it work the subscrpition fee alone ......... but trust me Scots ...... you are not alone in this opinion - its just that most slouch off and don't even bother to mention it mate.

Its incorrect, we built and launched this site years back, its never been taken over, it did have a facelift a while back maybe thats where the confusion comes in.
I was going to say the term ' sister ' initially Serens ...... but SP was independant from SH ...... till SH bought it out !! Did anyone else notice any changes too tho ....... ie especially in the aggresive way the site advertises and mislead's ??!!
'Sister' site usually just means owned by the larger site anyway really !! Without sounding cynical ...... SP has gone thro a lot of changes since the site was initially established - its just a shame most changes haven't been for the better !! Now tho ...... who mentioned anything to do with money hungry revenue grabbing business people rather than lifesytle concerned likeminded swinging site ownners ??!! lol xxxx

Be very careful what you are stating.
SP was built and is ran by the same company that owns it now.

We think the site isn't the site it used to be purely because of the amount of members! Also being an "old skool" member we have seen lots of good friends leave and it is really upsetting, but for everyone that does, new potential friends join. Like anything the site has evolved and we think for the better.
Since this site started all people have ever done is complain about it! The site is too slow.. The chatroom doesn't work.. The text is too yellow.. The chat screen is white.. the waters too cold.. blah blah blah! It's a million times better than it ever used to be! As for the way the site is moderated (disputes resolved) It disgusts me that people still give the site moderators such a hard time. They do it for free and they do it for you. Does anyone remember what it was like before there were mods?? We certainly do.
We find the site has peaks and troughs but at the end of the day it is what [b]you[/b] make of it! And we intend to make the most of it!![/color]

I like SH and SP and am a regular on both and pay extra's on both.
I am unsure whether I am a 'wannabe' I am also unsure how anyone can judge anyone else on whether or not they are swingers. I always believed it was something measured in attitude rather than notches.

I've only been a member on here for a few months but have had some really good fun already - so far, so good as they say!!!
It can be bloomin' hard for us single guys but that's life and we have to deal with it - or have a sex change!!!
I'm sure it can be just as hard for couples and the single girls out there too....in different sorts of ways.
In my limited experience, you just have to look quite hard for the good members - but they do exist!!!
Patience, politeness and all the usual pleasantries help too.
I guess it's easy to get down about the site and members who won't talk to you or reply to you but I kind of think that most of the decent, honest good ones do.
My motto is expect nothing and sometimes you are pleasantly surprised!!
And I suppose if it's not working for you and you're not having fun, well the only thing to do is leave!
Oh but i do agree about the fake profiles - there seem be loads of single girls on from the USA and Canada and other strange places for example... They all look like college cheerleaders and all have great photos....
