A wise person once told me about a Ju-jitsu instructor who said:
"If you train using only one tatami mat then you learn how to move within the confines of that mat. If you train with six tatami mats then you will learn to move within a larger space.
In life, many people live their lives within one tatami mat."

we live our life to the full and who is bold enough to tell us how large the so called mat is? and when u say 6 mats that could just be 6 smaller mats that make up one of the forementioned that we have no idea of size (maybe i could look it up on google pmsl) and what is a wise man may i ask....he knows no more than I! or does he and what in his life has the so said wise man achived to make him so in ur oppinion i wonder?????? He may know Martial arts, but then hey so Do I as i did the games for 15years but do not profess to be better than the next person, just life experiences that move me on to my next goal

A wise person who may be wise in one sense may not be wise in another and who dictates as to what is wise and what is not? Define wise in a generalization, you have not stated in what sense of the word this person is wise.
You say that a wise man told you that a Ju-Jitsu instructor said, and I quote "In life, many people live their lives within one tatami mat", how can one depict on a generalization of people when one does not know how everybody lives their life and of different circumstances that affect situations?
A statement has been made by yourself and the man who u said is wise and the ju-jitsu instructor. What makes these people wise in your opinion and why did you start the thread up in the first place ? You have not explained the reason as to what you have said and the reason for it being "so profound".........
Bearing in mind what site you have put this thread on, I think you might find that most of us genuine swingers dont like being shagged within a 180cm x 90cm area, we like to wriggle and squirm, lol......so we must be 6 mat people, pmsl.
Yeah, and why six mats? Can't you have four, or seven, or nineteen?
