I have been speaking to a few new friends about how to deal with unwanted wispers in the chat room.
So Please if you are chatting to someone, or about to chat please dont wisper unless you ask first if it is okay and they agree. We all do it, we perv someones profile while chatting, then type something immediately to comment on their profile in some form, before we realise we have wispered by accident. If you do and the notice it came in the form of a wisper, please apologise immediately and the click on chat to all. Of course then carry on chatting with that person aswell as everyone else.
As a single fem and I know it happens to many others, please dont wisper unless you have asked as it can be very annoying and often intimadating.
I do it all the time but always apologise and then end up doing it again and apologise again or end up putting... bugger sorry opps!!!
If you continue to wisper to someone and they have asked you politely to not wisper then take their advice, if not you will find that your gonna get your knuckles slapped by the moderators here to keep the site safe. And your very unlikely to get the person interested in you.
One more thing please dont just say hi and a few sentances then wisper us your mobile number......!!! Unless we ask for your number we dont really want it.

Nancy I do agree but it does annoy me when I have politely asked someone to not wisper to me and they carry on doing it. Thats when I start to get more annoyed and end up being rude to the person. These rules are for everyone to abide by and do think that if people carry on wispering when you have politely told them to not do it are gonna get themselves told off by mods like you were.
People who are new in particular and often the females can feel uncomfy when people wisper and continue to do so. Its very off putting and annoying.

Anyway, yes I do see your point Fruit. When I first joined the site I really got inundated with whispers and at first I didn't really know what the hell was going on. But once I had figured that out I just started to ignore them. They really did irritate me in the beginning because I think there were quite a few people who got all overexcited when they saw a new single girl in the room and all tried to pounce on me at once. There was a few times when I couldn't see anything on my screen except for blasted whispers!
But they have calmed down a lot now and I don't get too many. I think the usual suspects have cottoned on to the fact that I don't like them and don't respond.
Oh the the long list of mobile numbers I could have if I had kept them all. I don't think my phone has enough memory! pmsl
Well said friut! Couldn't agree more. However, I doubt very much the ignorant guys who do persistently whisper (despite warning) ever venture the forum. Either they don't have the social skills to participate here, or are otherwise illiterate!
well i agrre with sid_n_nancy and just ignore them and as cat says they are just to ignorant to understand,just do what Mo did and that is to threaten to copy and paste their comments in the room,i have done in the past and it has worked a treat,just a thought,love The Bays xxxxxxxx
Given all the negative comments on here, it might be worth sharing our own experience.
We have been members for a while, and have never received unpleasant whispers, and have always been treated with respect. In fact, we encourage whispers on our profile as we find it easier to deal with amongst the significant amount of traffic when it's busy.
If someone does whisper who we do not want to talk to at the time, it's easy to politely put them off.
I guess its mainly the single women that have a problem.

Probably most of the time, but not always CIC! A couple of years ago, I was on a meet. After the first bit of fun, the female half of the couple went on cam with me. There must have been about 10 very unpleasant orders whispered to us on what these depraved, desperate tossers wanted her to do to me.
Now, from a male point of view, I found it extremely annoying. The fact that two single males actually had the audacity, rudeness and cowardice to try and direct via whsipers was one thing, but in view of such awful behaviour, it's no wonder us single males have such a bad name in some circles.
I get whispers,when I`m on cam but tend to refer them to my profile,they soon dissappear.

Sorry, it just seems funny that anyone would get offended in such circumstances. Don't get me wrong, we are as depraved as the next person (people?), cam and all. This just tickled my funny bone.

WRONG! Where did I say we were having sex on cam? We were on cam, but you jumped to the irrational conclusion that we were having sex. That part of the meet was kept to ourselves. I wouldn't like to think I implied such in what I said.
Secondly, I really don't see anything funny about trying to distort the story to what you would rather believe, and that you chose to ignore the main point of my post; the unsocial behaviour of some single males.

I'm not surprised you see nothing funny. I really wasn't taking it that seriously, but you clearly are. I do find the acquisition of depravity to be somewhat ironic on a swingers site, but that's just me distorting things I guess.

Ok hot let me put it this wa. You are chatting in the chat room and some person wispers to you and you ask them ploitely to not wisper. They clearly ignore you and continue to wisper you. You ignore them and carry on doing so or you copy and paste their wispers in open chat as some people have said they have done.
There comes a point when you have politely asked someone numerous times to not wisper and they ignore you.
Well that gets me cross especially when I have been polite.
That is why I dont like wispers much, except from those who do know me and chat with me on a regular basis.
If in anything in life where I ask someone to not do something and they continue to, I feel its damn rude. Thats is why I often feel uncomfy when people are persistant in doing it.
