why is it that some people lie about their appearance? i met a bloke last wednesday who informed me he was 39 more like 60 he was bald and very overweight and said i was well fit LOL. im no supermodel but im slim and attractive or so im told. i have met 2 off here so far the second was a lovely guy of 38 a good looking married paramedic he was honest why cant others be the same? my profile is accurate i would never lie about my looks it makes you look very stupid indeed.

Simple answer if more folks where honest they'd never get a social meet never mind a shag. It's not just age people lie about it's everything else too, straight guy's to claim to be bi an vice versa, couples that aren't couples, endowment size is a common fib the guys tell and those claiming they only do safe sex but given the opportunity play bare jump at the chance. In short they'll tell you what they think you want to hear in the hope of getting a meet.
thanks richard yes im well aware many men and women lie about their vital statistics in order to be attractive to others. but if you are planning to meet someone you should be honest if you are say a size 18 and you tell the person you are meeting that your a size 8 it is wrong on all levels,i warm to peeps who are genuine and honest. the guy i met told me he wore glasses and didnt think he was good looking but i thought he was very nice so its pretty subjective but honesty is a must.

I was talking to a single male a few years back who had a VERY old pic on his profile, only he didnt say it was old, and had made out like he was in his 20s and well fit. The conversation has diverged a little bit, but to answer the first question, yeah its wrong, because people are deeply hurt by it. I am sure if it was the other way around it may be hurtful too.
On the issue of lying in profiles. Well one issue is no pic, I understand that because I have done some dumb stuff on and regret it so now my rule is stay as anon as possible until to trust that person.
The other issue is old pics, I cannot vouch for that, but the person who mentioned the pic of a young man, when in reality he was old and balding that was funny! However men do keep this image in their heads that they are always handsome no matter how much much they age, we are lucky compared to women

Have we met!?!?! Admin - what are you going to do about the dickheads that come in the chat room but are obviously single males posing as couples?
I've filed complaints about a few obvious ones, but it seems that naming and shaming (which I don't really want to do) is the only way I am going to make myself heard.
We are a couple who have been swinging for years now and deception is not new on "Swinging Sites". The best advice we can give is to take your time when considering a meet. Most of our meets come from going to social events where we can get to know our victims first and they can get to know us in a non pressured environment.
If your playing away from home i.e behind your partners back, that may be more difficult and therefore you may be more vulnerable to "liars".
As for proving your a real couple, we tend to have our webcam on when were in chat to show who we are. This has 2 down sides though.
