My fave accents are the Irish and anything with latin twist...
After living in London 7 years, my Aussie accent has softened somewhat. Although if you ask my family and friends at home they would say I sound proper English!!! I reckon it just depends who I am talking to. I tend to revert back to proper Aussie if I am around other Australians or after I have had a few drinks...

Nah, a landing strip is useful..helps point us in the right direction. Also useful if you have an itchy nose during a drinking session
