I can't agree with this more, you could put some thing like inactive on there account and once they come back it is automaticly removed. This would make life so much easier for all of us and as mentions by mwm all we are trying to do is make the site better becaus e we love it if we didnt we wouldnt pay to be members woud we?????

Yes but, if I were to PM a free member (without knowing they were a free member) they can't respond to me anyway as free members can't send messages! So what's the point of that? They can't respond so I just assume they were not interested when they could possibly be but just can't reply to me. And yes I understand that there are some people out there who maybe can't afford to pay the fees so if there was some sort of notification telling us that they were free members then we would know and possibly give them an email or messenger address...

Here's hoping! I mean I would be curious to know how many of the 290,000 odd members on here are premium paid members.
Even if is was 10% of members that is 29000 x £50 which is a turnover of £1,450,000 per year. Not to mention the people who have extras which is £70 per year.... ok this is the accountant in me talking... even 10% is a low guestimate.
Mods are not paid money to be a mod (or so I have been told so please correct me if I am wrong) and they are the ones who edit forum posts, view and approve comments etc, so surely the owners/developers on this site could give us regular paid members a few extra tid bits to make this site even better than it already is.
Just a few more user friendly features is all we are asking for isn't it? Plus, these extra little things we are after would not be hard to provide.
