You\'re not the first person to say this actually. It happened to someone else but we had no record of the images from the old database.
I would suggest uploading them again. I doubt that we can get the old record back but we can look into why it happened.
Best to use the bug thread for any similar reports.

I had this when I first visited the site this morning because my browser had loaded a cached version of the site. Pressing both \'Ctrl\' and \'F5\' together, I loaded a clean version of the site and has worked since.
Try the same thing - if you still don\'t have any joy, try deleting your temporary internet files.

Please note if you or someone that you know is having problems entering the site, passwords are now case sensitive so this is the likely problem.
Please ensure that the correct password, in lower or upper case, is being used.

I used an old account, new account, test account - none could replicate this.
Thanks for the password so I could test your account. It is a strange bug, with only specific users being able to do this.
We are of course currently looking into this and we will have it zapped asap.

I\'ve tried using several accounts, admin, mod, upgraded user, free user, and I\'ve been unable to duplicate this bug.
This is the message that I view after clicking the image:

The link then prompts to create a new message.

Can you double check your settings and try saving them again. This is a private photo that I\\\'ve had set since before the new version was put on. The new emoticons will only work on the site, none in the chat room have been updated.

Hello,
We are planning to launch the new version of sp tonight / tomorrow morning at around 3-4 am.
We will need to do some prep work for this which means the site login / sign up will be disabled around 1-2 am and remain disabled until the new version is launched.
Chatroom will still work as long as you join before we disable the login.

Have found that the backup for the site does run at 04:00 hours. The good news is that the new SP v2 has a much smaller database and should take no time at time.
I would be surprised once the new version is up, whether you will still notice this.
Perhaps getting some sleep might be easier ;)
